In Book I, he is the first being Anne rescues — freed from a spider’s web just before being eaten by the evil Spider. From that moment on, they become friends. Though small and often overlooked, Buzz’s help often proves decisive — especially in the destruction of the fearsome Hainomat. He makes the surprise move. He’s not always around, but when he shows up, something always happens.

He is a living interruption — a winged reminder that the Forest isn’t just rules, missions, and destiny. Sometimes, it’s simply a place where you can fly wherever you like.
